Data we collect
- Contact form fields: name, email, consultation interest, preferred timing, and message content
- Technical data needed to serve the site (IP address in server logs, browser type) where hosted
- Cookie preference stored locally in your browser (see cookies)
- Engagement data you later share under a consulting agreement (role context, interview notes) under separate terms
Purposes and legal bases
We process enquiry data to respond to your request and prepare estimates (legitimate interests / steps prior to contract). Engagement data is processed to perform the consulting agreement. Analytics cookies, if accepted, help us understand aggregate visits (consent).
Retention
Unsuccessful enquiries are typically retained up to 24 months, then deleted or anonymised. Contract and invoice records are kept as required under German commercial and tax rules. Server logs follow host retention schedules, usually no longer than 90 days unless needed for security.
Your rights
Under applicable data protection law (including the GDPR where it applies), you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection to certain processing. You may withdraw cookie consent at any time by clearing the stored preference and revisiting the site. You may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in Germany.
International transfers
If we use processors outside the European Economic Area (for example email or hosting providers), we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.
Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share data with processors who host email, site infrastructure, or accounting, under contracts that require confidentiality, and with authorities when legally required.
