Onboarding path
From first briefing to the last probation talk
A practical sequence for German employers who want workplace culture coaching and onboarding readiness to reinforce each other—not compete for calendar space.
1. Briefing and document pull
We collect role descriptions, induction packs, and two or three recent hire stories. HR names the rooms where friction shows—stand-ups, plant briefings, or probation reviews.
2. Onboarding readiness snapshot
Optional but recommended: a short readiness review flags buddy overload, missing Probezeit calendars, and unexplained rituals before coaching begins.
3. Culture map workshop
Participants and managers map hierarchy, feedback tone, meeting silence, and decision pace for their specific office—not a textbook Germany stereotype.
4. Coaching sessions
Four to six sessions practise real sticky moments: first client briefing, peer feedback, and asking for clarity without sounding uncommitted.
5. Manager briefing (when needed)
Leads receive shared phrases and a half-day rehearsal so probation talks stay concrete across the team.
6. Probation integration check-ins
Light-touch support at roughly weeks 4, 12, and 20 keeps misalignments visible before the Probezeit end date arrives unprepared.
Who this path suits
Growing German offices hiring specialists from abroad, HR partners redesigning induction, and managers who want clearer Probezeit conversations without softening performance standards.
If you only need one piece—say a manager briefing—we can start there. The path above is the full sequence when multiple hires arrive in one quarter.
